Bottleneck and Waste Finder.

Locate where a mapped process stalls, wastes effort, and breaks down at handoffs, then attach a rough cost to each problem so you prioritize by real impact.

Section A: Find the problems

With the real flow visible, mark where it goes wrong. A bottleneck is where work piles up and waits, where one step or person constrains the whole flow. Waste is effort that adds no value: rework, duplication, unnecessary approvals, waiting. A handoff failure is where work gets dropped or distorted passing between people or systems. A process moves only as fast as its single tightest bottleneck, so find that one especially.

Section B: Cost the problems

Attach a rough size to each, so you prioritize by impact and capture a baseline to measure against later. The numbers do not need precision; they need to be honest enough to rank by impact. This costing is also the baseline the measurement work later in the pathway will measure improvement against.
