Collaboration and Teaming Framework.

Improve the everyday practices of working together, and identify and dissolve the silos between teams, so collaboration becomes the norm.

Deliberate collaboration practices manufacture the repeated good experiences that trust is built from, rather than waiting for them. Set the within-team norms first, then map and dissolve the silos between teams.

Within-team collaboration norms

PracticeHow the team will workWho models it
How we share information
How we make decisions together
How we support each other's work

Cross-team silos

Silo (where teams do not connect)What it blocksHow we will dissolve it
Worked example

Silo: sales and delivery do not talk until a deal is signed. What it blocks: realistic scoping, so delivery inherits promises it cannot keep. How to dissolve it: a shared handoff review and one joint goal on on-time delivery.

Reading the result: norms only matter if practiced, so name who models each and how it becomes habit. Silos harden into rival fiefdoms if left alone, shared goals and cross-team practices are what keep the organization one team. Repeated good collaboration is what quietly rebuilds trust.
