Pick the few signals that tell you whether your culture is healthy, and run a regular, light read of them so you can see culture rather than guess.
Choose a small set of culture-health signals and how you will read them. A handful of honest signals read regularly beats an elaborate annual survey nobody acts on. Choose measures you will actually look at and respond to, a signal you will not act on is not worth collecting.
| Signal | How we read it (simple pulse) | Cadence | Current |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engagement | |||
| Trust and safety | |||
| Wellbeing | |||
| Belonging | |||
Culture health is a direction, not a number. Watch whether each signal is rising or slipping over time. At Step 5 of the guide, a light regular review is what catches drift while it is still small and cheap to correct.
Reading the result: choose measures you will actually respond to, and track the trend rather than any single reading.
