Name the specific levers that would most improve profit, and act on the highest-impact ones, routing those that live in other pathways.
There are four levers. For each, note the opportunity in your business and your estimate of the impact. Then rank them and act on the biggest first. Some route to where they live; the mix lever lives right here.
| Lever | The opportunity here | Est. impact | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | Pricing strategy | ||
| Cost | Operational efficiency | ||
| Volume | The revenue pathways | ||
| Mix | Here (this guide) |
Rank the levers by impact and act on the biggest first. The mix lever is often the fastest win and lives right here: sell more of your profit engines and less of your drains, or reprice and exit the drains. The others route to where they live, pricing to pricing strategy, cost to operational efficiency, and volume to the revenue pathways. The analysis is only worth the profit it actually changes.
