Segment Prioritization Matrix.

Rank your candidate segments by attractiveness and winnability so you select one primary target to aim at first, instead of spreading thin across all of them.

List the segments you could plausibly serve, then score each. Use 1 to 5 for every sub-factor and average each axis. Attractiveness asks whether the segment is worth winning (size, value per customer, growth, reachability). Winnability asks whether you can win it (fit, advantage, access).

High attractiveness and high winnability is your primary target; build the engine here first. High attractiveness and low winnability is tempting but hard; revisit later once you are stronger. Low attractiveness and high winnability is easy but small; a possible secondary, not a primary. Low on both, drop it.

If you serve a single segment, use this matrix to confirm it scores well on both axes and is large and reachable enough to sustain you. If it does not, that is a finding worth facing now.
