Track a small set of throughput signals each cycle. These few numbers tell you whether the cadence is working.

Throughput rising and cycle time falling means the discipline is taking hold. Work-in-progress climbing or blocks lingering means it is slipping. A persistent stall or a growing blocked count is a problem to solve, not a number to note. Use the trend to tune your WIP limits, and treat a quiet decline in throughput as the first sign of backsliding.
